3.)Puy du Fou: Shows, Management Presentation
My first time in France was in April 2014 for one week. Of course we went to see the Eiffel Tower and additionally did a boats tour on the rier Seine to see magestic architecture and the bridge ''Pont de Arts'' is full of locks from couples in love. Also, we visited Stade de France the football stadium in Saint-Denis on the edges of Paris from inside. We had a tour through th whole stadium in Dutch, took pictures of the field and the cabins with the original jerseys of the French team (see pictures).
Disneyland was the highlight of Paris. Disneyland is surprisingly not all about Disney characters, but also offer great roler coasters. Behind the entrance the theme section of the USA startes and in the back of the main road one can already see Disney's castle. In the afternoon/ early evening we saw the Disney parade which was fun. At night we came back from our hotel to see the firework and holograms rojcted onto the Disney castle itself. But before we all that we went to drive the roler coasters. The ''Small World'' for children was great fun and creative. Nevertheless, one had to stand in line was too much in the section for children and to meet Mickey and Minnie for example. The section I liked the most was ''Adventure Island'' with a pirates nest on a real island and a agreat roler coaster.
After visiting Paris, we left by bus to the south west to Puy du Fou (meaning: built on a hill, if I remember correctly). Puy du Fou is an attraction parkwith loads of French actors who perform scenes of the history of France. Additionally ther is a Roman Theater as the main attraction. Real lions in and out of cages, fighting scenes and as the highlight a chariot race was presented. Other attractions are a Vikings theatre with great stunts and special effects, a show with raptors, spectacular Cossak riding and others. There were good restaurants, women who bake bread on a stone stove, souvenir shops with wooden chess games, window decoration and more. If one doesn't understand French, he or she can lend audio headphones for translation of many languages. Although all shows are charming for the eye already.
